Matt earned his Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2009 after graduating from San Diego State University in 2006 with a B.A. in English and Political Science. He is an active member of multiple professional associations, including the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, Consumer Attorneys of California, and the Ventura County Bar Association. He also tries to give back to his community in the form of volunteer work, and when feasible, works as an adjunct professor at the Colleges of Law in Ventura, CA.
