- There were 267 fatal motorcycle accidents in Ventura County in 2020;
- Fatal pedestrian accidents accounted for 191 total accidents in Ventura County in 2020;
- More senior pedestrians were killed in fatal pedestrian accidents in Ventura County, with 14 fatal pedestrian accidents involving a pedestrian under the age of 15, and 26 fatal pedestrian accidents involving a pedestrian aged 65 and over;
- 223 bicyclists were killed in vehicle accidents in Ventura in 2020;
- 248 of the fatal car accidents that occurred in Ventura County in 2020 also involved a hit-and-run driver.
It is clear from these startling statistics that drivers and pedestrians alike must be extremely cautious in Ventura to avoid being involved in a fatal car accident.
